- Ensure timely and accurate elimination of intercompany balances and transactions, including intercompany revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, loans, and other balances.
- Oversee consolidation adjustments, top-side journal entries, foreign currency translation, and non-controlling interest accounting, as applicable.
- Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies and reconciliation breaks, partnering with entity-level accounting teams to establish clear ownership and timely resolution.
- Develop standardized processes and controls to improve the accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
- Support changes in the entity structure, including new entity onboarding, acquisitions, divestitures, and entity rationalization, as needed.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reporting packages.
- Ensure accounting and reporting practices comply with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support quarterly reviews, annual audits, and other financial reporting requests.
- Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and audit trails for significant accounting judgments, estimates, and consolidation adjustments.
- Partner with Tax and Treasury on entity-level reporting, intercompany financing, cash movements, and other cross-functional accounting matters.
