Job Juncture is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant in Pittsburgh to support month-end close, consolidation across multiple entities, and external reporting for domestic and international operations.

The role emphasizes intercompany accounting, cost accounting, and multi-jurisdiction compliance, requiring strong Excel skills and ERP experience to drive accurate financial statements and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations.
• Maintain intercompany accounts with domestic and foreign affiliates, including currency translation.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support external audits, bank reporting, and covenant compliance packages.
• Assist with state and local tax filings across jurisdictions.
• Prepare monthly management reports with variance analysis.
• Document internal controls, accounting policies, and close procedures.
• Support special projects, including system implementations and process improvements.
