Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee the corporate general ledger, fixed asset subledger, and intercompany activities. You will guide month-end closes, financial reporting, and capital asset management, ensuring GAAP compliance across locations.

Responsibilities include bank cash management, CIP tracking, depreciation, SOX controls, audits support, and collaboration with Tax on property tax reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience; 2–3 years preferred.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Experience with fixed asset accounting preferred.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and manage month-end close activities for corporate accounting functions.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with month-end consolidation processes and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Review and reconcile daily banking activity; initiate wire transfers and ACH funding.
• Maintain intercompany accounting and ensure timely intercompany recording.
• Maintain fixed asset subledger and depreciation schedules; track CIP and capitalization.
• Monitor fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals; prepare capex reports.
• Support SOX compliance and audits; coordinate with Tax on property tax reporting.
