Job summary

Meriton in Irving, TX is seeking a Corporate Accounting Senior Associate to drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with Shared Services and business units. CPA is preferred and experience with D365 is a plus, as you help optimize close workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience, including public accounting.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP; Microsoft D365 a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support consolidation and prepare financial statement schedules.
• Analyze monthly results and variances for management.
• Maintain close calendars, checklists, and process documentation.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits.
• Support cross-functional finance activities and ad-hoc projects.
