Our client, a rapidly growing infrastructure services organization in the Irving area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team. Job Responsibilities
- Manage components of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities
- Support acquisition integrations, including opening balance sheet reviews and process alignment
- Partner with regional accounting teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with treasury activities including cash management, banking administration, and payment processes
- Prepare monthly cash flow statements and support accounts payable activities as needed
- Participate in the annual audit process and assist with internal control documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements, including AI and automation initiatives
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA required or actively pursuing certification
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Public accounting, public/private mix, or strong industry experience considered
- Experience with consolidations or multi-entity environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills and executive-level professionalism
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve accounting processes
