Job summary

Darling Ingredients in Irving, TX seeks a professional to assist in the financial close process including international consolidation.

You will perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities using Oracle and Hyperion, support global consolidation, and prepare reconciliations. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with CPA, 3 years public accounting experience, and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required.
• Minimum 3 years public accounting experience; Big 4 preferred.
• International accounting experience required.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred.
• Able to meet deadlines with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including creating and entering Oracle and Hyperion entries.
• Assist with global consolidation to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Prepare account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct high level review and analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounting for foreign currency translation.
• Extract and prepare ad hoc reports for management.
• Assist in requests from internal and external auditors.
• Maintain and update documentation of procedures for the position.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.
• All other duties as assigned.
