Employer.com is a growing technology company focused on simplifying how businesses manage their people, finances, and operations. We are seeking a hands-on Corporate Accountant or Senior Corporate Accountant to own core accounting operations across our business and subsidiaries.

You will manage day-to-day accrual bookkeeping, close processes, intercompany journal entries, and financial reporting while supporting internal controls and integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on accrual-based accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accrual-based bookkeeping and journal entries.
• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Prepare and post intercompany and subsidiary journal entries.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and multi-entity accounting records.
• Maintain compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Support accounting transitions related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with pro forma analyses and ad hoc accounting projects.
