Sinai Residences of Boca Raton is seeking a Senior Cook to lead kitchen operations, standardize recipes, and mentor less experienced cooks. The role requires 3–5 years of cooking experience in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar setting, with strong knowledge of food preparation and safety practices.

You will work under the Culinary Services team in Boca Raton to ensure quality and timely meal production for residents.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 3–5 years’ experience as a cook in a hotel/restaurant/club or similar institution.
• Ability to plan and organize work and interpret instructions/recipes/standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
• Some knowledge of nutrition and diet.

Aufgaben

• Prepare soups, stocks, sauces and cook items per standardized recipes; coach others.
• Prepare and serve all grilled, sauteed, fried, steamed and baked items; coach others.
• Direct the preparation to meet meal serving hours while preserving quality, temperature and appearance.
• Create menu items that residents enjoy.
• Assist with inventory alerts and ensure items are ordered.
• Keep workstation clean during production.
