Sinai Residences is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team in Boca Raton, FL. This part-time role supports a high-quality dining program, ensuring safe food handling and consistent service in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, preparing diverse menu items, and maintaining a clean workstation while collaborating with chefs to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, club, healthcare, or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to read recipes and follow preparation standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safe food handling practices.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare menu items following standardized recipes and culinary standards
• Prepare soups, sauces, stocks, roasted and braised items
• Work across multiple cook stations while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Collaborate with Chefs and culinary team members to execute service successfully
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen operations and guest experience
• Support dishwashing and kitchen operations as needed

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
