Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Cook at its Jersey City location. The role focuses on preparing nutritious dishes, delivering strong customer service, and maintaining high food quality. You will work as part of a team to support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.

We value reliability and a safety‑minded approach, with 4+ years of related experience preferred. The position offers weekday morning and afternoon/evening shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events
• Follows complex recipes and/or product directions
• Produces small to large batch goods using classical and contemporary cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques
• May oversee production staff, train and assign tasks
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements
