Job summary

Lucent Legal is seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer to join a fast-growing legal practice that supports buyer’s agents and property professionals. The role combines leadership with hands-on conveyancing, handling matters from contract to settlement, and mentoring junior staff.

You’ll work across Australia jurisdictions with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client service, in a flexible, remote/hybrid setup that values clarity under pressure and practical problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical expertise in VIC; multi-jurisdictional knowledge or willingness to learn other jurisdictions.
• Ability to independently manage files from contract to settlement with high attention to detail.

This role is for someone with excellent technical expertise, but wants a leadership position alongside the Founder.

Now we’re looking for an experienced conveyancer to help us keep raising the bar as we scale.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in residential conveyancing
• Must have strong technical expertise in VIC – multi-jurisdictional experience is highly regarded or at least a willingness to learn other jurisdictions
• Ability to independently manage files from start to finish, without compromising care or quality
• An exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• A commercial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude for clients
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Confident with PEXA and Smokeball, TriConvey or similar legal technology
• Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture
