Job summary

Lucent Legal is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our scaling team. You’ll manage conveyancing matters from contract to settlement, liaise with clients, brokers and agents, and work autonomously with high accuracy.

This remote/hybrid role rewards proactive problem solving, attention to detail, and mentoring juniors. 3+ years of residential conveyancing required; familiarity with WA/SA/TAS is helpful; ability to work across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong multi-jurisdictional expertise in WA, SA, or TAS with willingness to learn other jurisdictions.
• Ability to independently manage files from start to finish with care and quality.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Commercial, proactive, solutions-focused mindset for clients.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Confident with PEXA and Smokeball, TriConvey or similar legal technology.

Responsibilities

• Managing conveyancing matters from contract to settlement.
• Liaising directly with clients, brokers and agents – with clarity and confidence.
• Acting with autonomy and accuracy (we don’t micromanage).
