Job summary

Amcor Limited in Griffin, GA is hiring for a production associate to support box making, roll handling and packaging. You will follow safety, quality, and GMP guidelines while helping maintain a smooth production flow.

The role requires lifting up to 80 pounds, standing for long shifts, and performing routine quality checks and changeovers with supervision. You will also complete paperwork and keep a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to work on Manufacturing floor standing for 12+ hours per day.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely operate, maintain and perform minor adjustments on heavy equipment.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and assist on packaging, following safety and quality policies.
• Perform finished quality inspections and packaging.
• Make boxes, load/unload rolls, and create tractability labels.
• Read and understand work orders to meet product requirements.
• Complete and supply accurate production paperwork to shift supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and update cleaning logs.
• Assist on changeovers and adjust production lines to maintain quality.
