Job summary

Amcor in Griffin, GA is seeking a production operator to assist on equipment, assemble and load rolls, and ensure packaging quality. You will read work orders, perform quality checks, and maintain clean, safe work areas while supporting changeovers and daily production targets.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift heavy objects, and strong teamwork to meet stringent GMP and safety standards in a fast-paced packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand on the manufacturing floor for 12+ hours per day.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing procedures.
• Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Able to safely operate, maintain and perform minor adjustments on heavy equipment.
• Maintain effective working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and assist on production lines.
• Follow safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.
• Read work orders to meet product requirements.
• Perform first piece and hourly quality checks.
• Assist with changeovers and minor machine adjustments to maintain quality.
• Complete and supply accurate production paperwork to shift supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and cleaning logs.
• Other assignments as directed by supervision.
