Job summary

Amcor Griffin facility is hiring a production operator to support box making, roll loading/unloading, and quality checks. You will follow safety policies, maintain area cleanliness, and assist on equipment to meet production goals.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, accurate paperwork, and teamwork on a fast-moving manufacturing floor. Candidates should be able to lift up to 80 pounds and stand 12+ hours, with training provided to operate heavy equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand for 12+ hours on Manufacturing floor.
• Basic reading and comprehension of work orders and instructions.
• Ability to safely operate, maintain and adjust heavy equipment.
• Ability to work well with others on a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist on equipment including box making and roll loading/unloading.
• Maintain general area housekeeping and complete cleaning logs.
• Follow GMPs to ensure product safety and quality.
• Perform finished quality inspections and packaging.
• Read and understand work orders to meet product requirements.
• Complete first piece quality checks and hourly roll quality checks.
• Assist in line changeovers and minor machine adjustments.
• Provide accurate production paperwork to shift supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
