Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced extrusion/shift operator support professional. You will guide operators, ensure products meet specifications, and lead change-overs to minimize downtime while maintaining quality. You will also help secure materials and perform basic adjustments to keep lines running smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and contributing to Amcor's goals of safety, quality, and efficiency across packaging operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Specialized training may be required.
• Minimum 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Helps manage the technical side of the Extrusion Operators assignment.
• Ensure products are within specification and proper quality is attained before initiating the production run.
• Directs and participates in the change-over process to new product.
• Ensures raw materials are available for continuous processing and may make basic repairs/adjustments when necessary.
