Job summary

Dana Canada Corp. is seeking an experienced maintenance/controls supervisor to lead operations technicians in a fast-paced automotive production environment near Warren, MI. You will diagnose complex issues, coordinate with engineering, and drive reliability improvements while mentoring junior staff.

Required are a high school diploma or related technical degree, 7+ years in maintenance with 3+ years in controls, and Rockwell PLC/HMI experience. On-site role with strong safety and quality focus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in maintenance/controls.
• 3+ years of controls-related experience.
• Rockwell Automation PLC programming and HMI development.
• Electronics, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
• Safe, proactive troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritize the work of operations technicians to support production goals and respond to equipment or process issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement improvements in equipment performance and process reliability.
• Provide guidance and training to junior technicians on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
• Ensure accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and process changes.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
