Job summary

Dana Corp in Missouri seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to support and optimize PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems across manufacturing operations. You will design, modify, and document control solutions for a variety of production equipment and participate in R&D for new machines.

Responsibilities include developing electrical schematics, programming ladders, and integrating robotics and CAD drawings. Strong background in Allen-Bradley tools and HMI software is required.

Qualifications

• BSEE from an accredited university or college (or equivalent) with 5+ years of controls engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient with Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk and Studio 5000.
• Experience programming in ladder logic and HMI software; familiarity with Microsoft SQL databases and programming languages (C++, Visual Basic).
• Experience with industrial robots and CAD tools for electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for PLCs, hardware, software and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot user issues, train users and document solutions.
• Develop PLC solutions and document project completion.
• Design and engineer PLCs and modify for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop SCADA and HMI controls and integrate with 3rd party equipment.
• Support R&D phase of new machines and concepts.
