Dana Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Controls Technician to provide hands-on technical leadership in our automotive production environment in Michigan.

You will coordinate daily activities, resolve complex issues, and mentor junior technicians to ensure equipment functionality and product quality. Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of Rockwell PLC programming, HMI development, and hydraulics/pneumatics with at least 7 years in controls-related roles, including plant-floor operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of controls or automation experience noted in the job description.
• 3+ years of controls-related experience required.
• Plant floor experience on automotive lines.
• Rockwell PLC programming and HMI development knowledge.
• Electronics, mechanical equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics familiarity.
• Knowledge of problem solving, troubleshooting, and controls standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead and prioritize the work of operations technicians to support production goals.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and process reliability.
• Provide guidance and training to junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and process changes.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
