Job summary
Green Bay Packaging Inc. Fremont Division is seeking a Senior-Level Controls Technician to install, program, troubleshoot, maintain and optimize PLC systems and automated equipment across manufacturing lines.
You will diagnose electrical and control problems, read schematics, support safety standards, and collaborate with engineers and operators to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years or more experience in industrial controls.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled machinery and automated equipment.
- Program, modify, and maintain PLC and HMI software.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and control systems.
- Diagnose electrical, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Read and interpret schematics and ladder logic.
- Install and commission new automation equipment and upgrades.
- Support production teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
