Job summary

Green Bay Packaging in De Pere, WI, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facilities. The role involves reading drawings, installing and aligning machinery, and performing preventive maintenance on pumps, conveyors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and is working toward an associate degree; experience with PLCs, HMIs, and safety protocols is a plus.

Qualifications

Reading blueprints, diagrams, electrical schematic and hydraulic drawings to determine work requirements.
Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions.
Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Adjust machinery and troubleshoot defective parts.
Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery during installation, set-up and repair.
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance on machinery.

Adjust machinery and troubleshoot defective parts
Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and forklifts, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance/preventative work on machinery
Other job tasks and projects as assigned
