Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Sr. Controls Systems Engineer in Tyler, TX. The role provides overall technical leadership for HVAC embedded controllers, interfaces, tools, and digital offerings, shaping system designs and architectures.

You will communicate technical direction to senior management and cross-functional teams across engineering, product management, sales, and operations. 8+ years in related design and validation required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in system and subsystem product designs, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Experience leading or contributing to new technology and product development projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical leadership for new product development projects.
• Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle from requirements to test.
• Establish system architecture and decomposition into requirements; evaluate trade-offs.
• Lead design reviews and technical project reviews; participate in failure investigation and resolution.
