Job summary

Trane Technologies in Clarksville, TN seeks a Unit Controls Technical Lead to guide new product development. You will design, integrate and validate control systems with cross‑functional teams, ensuring technical feasibility and timely delivery.

You will bring 5+ years in engineering project management, strong leadership, and knowledge of HVAC systems. A BS/MS in engineering and DFSS/INCOSE familiarity are a plus as you drive innovative climate solutions.

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in Engineering.
5+ years of Project Management in engineering product development.
Experience leading embedded software or enterprise software projects.
Strong planning, leadership and English communication skills.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
DFSS techniques; INCOSE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensures objectives met through new product/technology development.
Designs/evaluates products with mechanical engineering teams.
Generates specs for software engineers to implement.
Assesses feasibility, cost, and customer demand with management/marketing.
Serve as controls technical engineering core member on cross‑functional projects.
Lead technical design and define product requirements.
