Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Controls Project Manager in Lubbock, TX to lead multi-building HVAC control projects from start to finish. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and safety while serving as the primary contact for customers and stakeholders.

You will mentor team members, coordinate with sales, subcontractors, and owners, and drive project delivery and financial performance in complex control installations.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management Degree a plus.
• Combination of degree and/or 7-10 years’ experience in HVAC Controls and Project Management.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience & leadership alignment prioritized.
• Proficient at resource / manpower planning.
• Experience leading diverse technical teams.
• Experience working with building owners is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support sales with quotes and proposals.
• Manage change order processes and resolve issues.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain stakeholder communication.
• Create and maintain project schedules with critical path and dependencies.
• Lead project administration, scope, cost, schedule, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with technicians, team leads, and PMs on progress and plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, RFQ process, subcontracts, and progress reviews.
• Mentor team members and act as SME for HVAC controls.
