Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced Controls & Software Engineer Specialist to lead design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems for engineered industrial products. You will mentor teams and collaborate with customers across domestic and international locations.

The role emphasizes PLC programming, system integration, and development of software applications for diagnostics and monitoring. Travel may be required to support global projects and customer deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Computer Engineering or related field.
10+ years in controls engineering, industrial automation, software development, or systems engineering.
Experience leading engineering teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Proven ability to collaborate with domestic and international teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for controls and software initiatives across multiple projects.
Mentor engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices.
Lead design reviews, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities.
Design and develop control architectures for industrial equipment and PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
Develop software interfaces, diagnostics, and monitoring solutions for industrial equipment.
Coordinate with global teams to ensure successful project execution and customer support.
