Flowserve Corporation seeks an experienced Controls & Software Engineer Specialist to lead design, development, and deployment of advanced control systems for engineered industrial products and automation equipment. You will mentor teams and collaborate with customers worldwide across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has a strong industrial automation background, PLC programming, and systems integration experience, with proven leadership of global projects and multi‑discipline teams.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical/controls/computer engineering or related field; 10+ years in controls engineering or automation.
• Experience leading engineering teams and global projects; strong cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts to customers and stakeholders.
• Extensive PLC programming experience on Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, or Schneider platforms.
• Hands-on with HMI/SCADA and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA).
• Proficient in C/C++, C#, Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for controls and software initiatives across projects.
• Mentor engineers, establish best practices, and drive design reviews.
• Develop control system architectures and software for industrial equipment.
• Lead customer discussions to define requirements and tailored solutions.
• Coordinate global teams to ensure on‑time, within‑scope execution.
• Support product testing, commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting.
