You will identify and mitigate compliance and operational risks, partnering with executives to design and implement control strategies that protect the firm and enable efficient operations. Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services with controls, audit, QA, or operational risk management.
• Risk Management & Controls: Independently applies risk management practices and escalates when needed.
• Change Management: Uses standard approaches to minimize disruption and supports stakeholders through moderate change.
• Influence: Uses data to drive solutions and collaborates across the business.
• Internal Stakeholder Management: Builds productive relationships and communicates proactively.
• Communication & Presentation: Creates presentations, writes executive summaries, and communicates clearly.
• Teamwork: Collaborates across functions and promotes inclusivity.
• Analytical Thinking & Decision Making: Analyzes data, identifies issues, and makes timely, fact-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and advise stakeholders to analyze risks and controls across the business, proactively find gaps or new risks, and identify root causes to advise solutions.
• Design, set up, and monitor controls using automation, AI, and data analytics to build a proactive risk culture.
• Review and provide program data (such as KRI/KPI), use analytics and visualization tools, and create reports to support business decisions.
• Take active ownership of Risk & Control Self-Assessments by leading process walkthroughs and mapping exercises with different teams.
• Lead or support control program projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and addressing key risks, while identifying and driving improvements through new technology.
• Bring in skills like digital risk management, agile ways of working, and automation to keep the organization moving forward.
