Job summary

Team Rauch is seeking a talented Controls Engineer for a U.S. opportunity with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance. You will design and implement modifications to electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliability.

You will troubleshoot control systems, manage projects and suppliers, and mentor others through troubleshooting and automation development. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or equivalent technical field required.
7+ years automation experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal expertise.
Knowledge of Profibus/Profisafe/Safety Integrated/ASI-Bus.
Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Experience with risk assessments and safety evaluations.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing modifications to electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliability.
Troubleshooting controls and automation systems and driving equipment improvements.
Managing projects, suppliers, and new process equipment while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
Coordinating major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actions.
Supporting continuous improvement and capital projects.
Leading and mentoring others through troubleshooting, equipment design, and automation development.
