Job summary

Team Rauch is seeking a talented Controls Engineer for a U.S. opportunity with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance. You will design and implement modifications to electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliability.

You will troubleshoot control systems, manage projects and suppliers, and mentor others through troubleshooting and automation development. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent technical field required.
• 7+ years automation experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal expertise.
• Knowledge of Profibus/Profisafe/Safety Integrated/ASI-Bus.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with risk assessments and safety evaluations.

Responsibilities

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field
• 7+ years of automation experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated, and ASI-Bus
• Ability to create and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Familiarity with risk assessments and safety evaluations

Bonus points if you have:

• Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA
• Experience with FANUC Robots, FANUC Vision, Cognex Vision, and Atlas Copco tools
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and safety codes
• AutoCAD experience
