Job summary

Rauch & Associates is seeking a talented Controls Engineer in the United States (Mississippi) with visa sponsorship and relocation assistance. The role focuses on designing and refining electrical, robotic, and PLC automation to improve uptime and reliability.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 4+ years in automation, and strong Siemens PLC/TIA Portal experience. Bonus points for an MBA or Master’s, FANUC robots, and AutoCAD proficiency. Relocation and sponsorship are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4+ years of automation experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal
• Knowledge of Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated, and ASI-Bus
• Ability to create and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Familiarity with risk assessments and safety evaluations

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing modifications to existing electrical, robotic, and PLC automation equipment to improve uptime and reliability
• Troubleshooting controls and automation systems and driving equipment improvements
• Managing projects, suppliers, and new process equipment while keeping projects on schedule and within budget
• Coordinating major maintenance, emergency repairs, and corrective actions
• Supporting continuous improvement and capital projects
• Leading and mentoring others through troubleshooting, equipment design, and automation development

• Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA
• Experience with FANUC Robots, FANUC Vision, Cognex Vision, and Atlas Copco tools
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and safety codes
• AutoCAD experience
