Job summary

Auria is a leading global supplier of engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical and thermal solutions. Sr Controls Engineer roles are based at our North America plants with up to 50% travel to North American locations.

You will design and improve controls systems, integrate networking for monitoring and traceability, and ensure compliance with safety standards while collaborating across management, engineering and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
• Industrial protocols such as Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, DeviceNet, DH+.

Responsibilities

• Design, update and improve controls systems including robotics, PLC logic, motor and hydraulics/pneumatics controls.
• Integrate machine networks for remote access, monitoring and traceability.
• Ensure new equipment meets Auria’s safety and controls standards with OEMs.
• Mentor plant controls engineers and manage project timelines and costs.
