Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Senior Control Engineer for the Jonesville, SC site. You will develop and maintain manufacturing automation and test systems, leading plant goals through robust test methods and automated processes.

You will collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, Purchasing and Production Scheduling to drive safety, efficiency and cost improvements, including upgrades to legacy software and hardware. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years in test/controls engineering.
• 3 years with PLC, HMI programming and safety system design.
• Experience with Visual Basic/Studio, SQL, and Microsoft apps.
• U.S. work authorization required; immigration sponsorship not provided.
• Relocation assistance available for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting on production machinery and software.
• Develop and review test equipment specs and compliance.
• Manage the electrical safety program on site.
• Coordinate with vendors for new machinery and software.
• Lead commissioning of new equipment and perform validation testing.
• Collaborate with QA, Design Engineering, Purchasing and Production Scheduling.
