Job summary

Auria seeks a Sr Controls Engineer to join the North America Corporate Engineering Group. Location can be at any US plant with up to 50% travel to North America plants. You will design and improve control systems, integrate networking, and ensure equipment meets safety and controls standards.

This role offers opportunities to mentor engineers, manage project timelines, and collaborate across engineering and maintenance teams. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Controls Engineer preferred.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC/HMI systems.
• Industrial networking protocols including Ethernet, Profibus, RS-232, Devicenet, DH+.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and continually improve controls systems including robotics, PLC logic, electrical distribution, motor and motion controls, operator interfaces, hydraulics and pneumatics, and vision systems.
• Integrate machine and plant networking for remote access, monitoring, data storage, and traceability.
• Ensure new equipment meets Auria standards and safety/controls regulations with OEMs.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, maintenance to implement upgrades efficiently.
• Mentor plant controls engineers and manage project timelines and costs.
