Job summary

Tri-Mation Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer in Michigan to design, program, and maintain PLC controls and HMIs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, ProFace). You will develop and install Vision systems and work with other teams on customer projects, documenting flow charts and project approval materials.

The role involves on-site setup, commissioning, testing, debugging and implementing improvements, plus run-offs with the customer team to ensure successful deployment.

Qualifications

• 1) experience in automated or controls programming, preferably in automated or robotic machinery.
• 2) PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi or ProFace.
• 3) strong prioritization, communication, multi-project handling, and troubleshooting.
• 4) self-starter, team player in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• 5) valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, modify and maintain PLC controls and HMIs.
• Develop and install Vision systems with Datalogic, Congex and Keyence.
• Create flow charts and project documents for customer approval.
• On-site commissioning, testing, debugging and improvements after build.
• On-site run-offs and collaboration with customer team.
