Piston Automotive in Missouri seeks a Controls Engineer to design, document, and improve control systems for production. You will work from project sourcing to SOP, transfer equipment documentation, and support RFQ development.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, vision and HMI work, and collaboration with vendors. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or programming, 2+ years in controls, and experience with Allen-Bradley platforms.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years as Controls Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Programming.
• Experience programming PLCs for automated cells and conveyors.
• Experience with vision systems and HMI programming.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze machine performance and PLC requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and track projects and capital budgets.
• Interface with automation vendors for control solutions.
• Provide controls guidance for equipment selection and expansion.
• Support PC/PLC networking (TCP/IP, EthernetIP).
• Drive lean concepts and continuous improvements.
