Jobot is seeking an experienced Sr. Controls Engineer to lead control and automation projects across our manufacturing facilities. You will install new systems, upgrade existing ones, and commission control systems to optimize productivity.

Location is Des Moines, IA, with travel up to 25% to other company sites. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering and has hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI development, and AVEVA ArchestrA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI development, AVEVA ArchestrA (Wonderware).
• Experience with .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
• Open to 25% travel.

Responsabilités

• Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
• Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
• Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
