Jobot in Odessa, TX is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to design, program, and maintain PLC-based control software for complex manufacturing equipment. You will work hands-on on-site, lead automation upgrades, and collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to improve safety and productivity.
Qualifications include a BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering, strong PLC/HMI experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens, and ability to read electrical schematics.
Formación
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience developing, modifying, and implementing PLC control software.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical power distribution and control systems.
Responsabilidades
- Develop, program, implement, and maintain PLC-based control software for manufacturing equipment.
- Design, modify, and troubleshoot automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and control hardware.
- Lead control system upgrades and equipment integration from design through commissioning.
