Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer III for onsite roles in Duquesne, PA or Mansfield, TX. The position is full-time with direct hire and offers a compensation range of $90,000–$120,000 per year plus annual bonus eligibility.

Travel up to 60% may be required to support field-based projects. You will lead design, integration, and delivery of automation and control system projects, working with managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure safe and reliable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, CS or related field and 4+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or systems integration.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform FAT for automation systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics; review field conditions.
• Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
• Review documentation for accuracy and quality; deliver tasks on schedule.
