Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead energy-focused control system projects, including chillers, boilers, HRSGs, and related balance-of-plant equipment. This role requires deep technical expertise and collaboration with project leadership to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

The position involves up to 50% travel, remote work options, and direct-hire employment. A PE license and senior-level experience are highly valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of total experience.
• PE license and/or relevant industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex system design, including I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing docs.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Support business development through technical proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Mentor engineers and provide expert guidance across technical, financial, and operational domains.
• Drive company design standards and quality through the QMS.
