Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead energy-focused control system projects, including chillers, HRSGs, and electrical balance-of-plant equipment. You will serve as a technical expert, guiding multiple engineering efforts with project leadership and stakeholders.

The role requires deep experience in control systems, with a focus on design, testing, and execution across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• 10+ years of total experience in control systems.
• 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or equivalent).
• Professional Engineering license and/or relevant industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex system design including I/O, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Support business development through technical proposals and presentations.
• Mentor engineers and ensure project delivery on schedule and within budget.
• Drive company design standards and quality through the QMS.
• Communicate proactively with customers and adhere to client standards.
