Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Lead Controls Engineer for Energy & Central Utility Systems. The role involves leading design and deployment of control systems across energy plants, including chillers, boilers, HRSGs, and related Balance-of-Plant equipment.

The position offers full-time/direct-hire opportunity with substantial travel. You will provide technical direction, ensure design quality, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with project leadership and customers.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive controls engineering experience.
• 3+ years at a senior or Control Engineer III-equivalent level.
• PE license and/or industry certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex control system design including architecture, I/O design, instrumentation, sequences of operation, PLC/HMI/SCADA integration, and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership through design, FAT/SAT, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and quality; act as a technical authority on thermal, electrical, and balance-of-plant systems.
• Mentor engineers, lead multi-project efforts, and guide other controls engineers.
