Job summary

Thermo Systems is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead energy-focused control system projects, including chillers, boilers, HRSG, and switchgear. You will guide engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with project leadership to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in control systems, a PE license or equivalent certifications, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field with strong technical depth.
• 10+ years of total experience in control systems engineering.
• 3+ years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex control system design, I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Provide technical direction across multiple projects and teams.
• Mentor engineers and drive design standards and QMS compliance.
• Collaborate with project leadership and stakeholders to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Support business development through technical proposals and client presentations.
• Identify scope changes and manage project risks with proactive communication.
