Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead design, deployment, testing, and maintenance of control system projects. You will collaborate with customers and team members to deliver reliable solutions and support project management with status updates.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 7+ years in the control systems field, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel 30–50% (mostly local).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently on projects with an organized and methodical approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support).

Responsibilities

• Support project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation – drawing packages, procedures, sequences of operations.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, & SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning system design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC.
• Travel and participate in design, development, and start-up at client sites.
• Be an ambassador upholding core values and teamwork.
