Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, deploy, test, and maintain control system projects. You will collaborate with clients and teammates to deliver robust automation solutions and support startups.

Requirements include a bachelor in engineering, 3+ years in control systems, ability to travel 30-50%, and experience with PLCs and HMI/SCADA. We value teamwork and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently with an organized approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Travel 30-50% (mostly local) and strong collaboration mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member supporting project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation and procedures.
• Perform QA/QC and bench testing of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning support and design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and quality.
• Travel to client facilities to participate in design, development, and start-up.
• Act as an ambassador upholding core values and teamwork.
