Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead design, deployment, testing, and maintenance of control system projects, collaborating with clients and team members to deliver robust solutions.

You will develop design documentation, perform PLC/HMI/SCADA testing, provide onsite and remote commissioning support, and travel 30-50% to client sites, with a focus on coordination with installation teams and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently on projects with organized, methodical approach.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Instrumentation calibration/startup experience.
• Experience commissioning in 'live' environments.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support).

Responsibilities

• Support project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation – drawings, procedures, sequences, testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, & SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote commissioning support and design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress, QA/QC activities and communications.
• Travel 30-50% as needed for client sites.
