Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, deploy, test, and maintain control system projects for diverse industries. You will collaborate with customers and project leaders, providing status updates and hands-on development from design to startup.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent, 3+ years in the field, and travel up to 50% with a strong, organized approach and ability to work both remotely and on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Able to work independently on projects with an organized, methodical approach.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local).
• Experience commissioning in live environments.
• Basic understanding of control system networks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member from design through implementation.
• Develop and modify design docs: drawings, SOPs, sequences.
• Quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, SCADA.
• Provide onsite and remote support for commissioning changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams on QA/QC and progress.
