Job summary

Alpolic is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Controls and Automation to lead plant electrical power, controls, automation, OT, SCADA, and reliability initiatives in a continuous manufacturing setting.

The role partners with engineering, maintenance, production, HSE, IT, and vendors to troubleshoot chronic failures, design upgrades, and ensure secure OT infrastructure and robust SCADA platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in a manufacturing environment with electrical/controls experience.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI platforms; SCADA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical, controls, and automation engineering activities.
• Develop and maintain OT network architecture and SCADA configuration.
• Coordinate IT/OT security, upgrades, and commissioning of systems.
• Support reliability, maintenance, and plant-safety initiatives.
