Job summary

Atlas OT is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead complex automation projects across Mechanical, Electrical, and Software systems on multiple platforms. You will develop global standards, architect secure OT networks, and guide engineers to deliver high-quality designs and implementations.

This role emphasizes process optimization, cross-site collaboration, and adherence to IEC 62443 cybersecurity, UL/NEC/ISA/IEC standards, and ERP/MES integrations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; advanced certifications preferred (ISA CAP, PE).
• Minimum 8+ years of experience with multi-site implementations and system architecture.
• Experience documenting control narratives, P&IDs, and SIS.
• Willingness to travel and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex automation projects across Mechanical, Electrical, and Software systems across multiple platforms.
• Develop and enforce global code libraries and IEC 61131-3 standards.
• Architect secure OT networks and ensure IEC 62443 cybersecurity compliance.
• Review work across Associate to Lead Engineers to ensure engineering standards.
• Estimate project hours and BOMs with Sales and PM teams.
• Provide technical leadership for process optimization and automation strategies.
