Sammons Industrial, LLC in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is hiring a Senior Controls/Automation Engineer III to lead multiple projects from design to go-live. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with sales, project managers, and installation teams, and ensure integration of electrical, mechanical, and software systems.

The role requires 7+ years in controls engineering, with strong PLC/HMI and AutoCAD experience, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualificações

7+ years in controls engineering, ideally in conveyor systems, material handling, or warehouse automation.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, and AutoCAD.
Experience with barcode scanning, high-speed sortation, scales, and labeling systems.
Familiarity with WCS, WES, or WMS is a plus.
Leadership mindset with a hands-on approach.

Responsabilidades

Lead with expertise and ownership across multiple projects from system design to go-live.
Be the technical partner to solve challenges with sales, PMs, software, installation teams, and customers.
Mentor engineers and provide technical oversight of subcontracted automation partners.
Shape engineering standards, improve processes, and drive system reliability.
