Job summary

W-Industries of Texas, LLC is hiring a senior Industrial Automation engineer to design and develop control systems including PLCs, HMIs, robots, drives and motors. You will work from project specs, manage schedules, and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include developing functional specs, test procedures, and operation manuals, plus onsite and remote support after installation. Strong programming in AB and Siemens platforms is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Industrial Automation engineering or related field.
• Experience designing/control systems per specs and contracts.
• Ability to manage schedules, COs and change management.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Industrial Automation control systems, PLCs, HMIs, robots, drives and motors.
• Develop Functional Specifications and control narratives per client specs.
• Create test procedures and operating manuals; support installation and commissioning.
• Lead risk/issue communication with customers, suppliers and team.
